Visual Basic 6 Runtime Files

Some FaVorithSoft applications were written in the programming language Visual Basic (6). In order to ensure a smooth functionality, certain files must be available on the user's PC. Some of these Runtime Files come along with the Windows operating system, while some other special files need to be installed subsequently.

Installation hints

In order to install the Visual Basic Runtime Files properly, you have to precede as follows:

• Download the Visual Basic Runtime Files.
• Close all running applications.
• Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the partition, where Windows is installed (normally, this is C:\).
• Go to the subfolder WINDOWS and then system32. If your system partition is C:\, you should now be in C:\WINDOWS\system32.
• Unzip the previously downloaded file runtime.zip into this directory.
• Do not allow the replacement, if some of the files already exist.
• All right! From now on you can use all of FaVorithSoft's programs, which were written in Visual Basic.
